Paying $26 to ship a $2 item is outrageous.
I wish I had known to contact the seller to arrange shipping. Using auto ship by LiveAuctioneers is EXPENSIVE, a $2 item cost me $23 because of shipping, in a small bubble-wrapped envelope! This is not the first time this has happened. Contact the seller directly and ask THEM what their shipping cost will be arranged thru them, NOT LiveAuctioneers!! Lesson learned-again.

Definitely check the cost of shipping because it is quite the racket they have going. The shipping cost on my one little piece was beyond a rip off. I just told the auction house to donate the piece to a charity or throw it away I didn't even have it shipped to me because they were charging so much.

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, LiveAuctioneers requires that our shipping services default to LiveShipping, which is where the egregious prices come from. Our buyers typically elect for "self-arranged" shipping, which allows us to use our proprietary software instead of LiveShipping. By doing this, we're able to provide shipping quotes that are much more tasteful than LiveAuctioneers. We will make note of your experience and pass it along to LiveShipping to prevent it from happening again.

Accurate description of the item, shipped in reasonable time
I am satisfied with this auction house. There was a misunderstanding with the shipping company which I thought was the auction house but it was the shipping company who kind of fell down on the job. I received the item which is in excellent new condition. I am very happy.

shipping cost
I bid and won the item for $10 and the item weighed about 3 lbs. When I got the invoice, the only shipping option was thru liveauctioneer and they wanted a payment of $146.00!! I paid only the invoice of $13.80 and called Dunn Attic and had to leave a message complaining of the cost of shipping thru liveauctioneer. I than received an invoice from Dunn Attic for a shipping cost of $19.39 which I paid. I have only praise for Dunn Attic and disgust for the greed of liveauctioneer!!

In Shipping 101 one learns that when you use a Priority Box, you can not use USPS GROUND RATE.
Shipping is always a problem on small items!
