they know nothing about shipping, my object broke through the box

I had been wanting a large cast iron Dutch oven, so I bid on this one and won. What made me bid? This is a larger Dutch oven made by the same people who made the one I already have. I couldn't be happier. Some cast iron I buy is for collector value, some I buy for everyday use, and this Dutch oven joins the collection of pieces we use almost daily.

The secretary desk is beautiful. The description and pics were accurate. Staff was great when I arranged for pickup and helped with loading. I will continue to follow this seller while looking for my next treasure!

Few auction houses these days take customer service seriously. I’ve bought a few items on Live Auctioneers through many auction houses. The ones that have texted me and emailed about the progress of my winning bid have been a pleasure to work with. Others have been rude and demanding.

After winning a bid that was already high due to the minimum bid accepted i was prepared to pay the shipping they had displayed on the items page (16.00). To my surprise the invoice showed more than double shipping price. I called and was told that it starts out at 16 and goes up based on location. Figured ok I missed some fine print somewhere. Went to pay the invoice and shipping was even more. Called again and was told it was for fuel and seasonal charges. I told them id not be paying that to please cancel the sale. Was put on hold and never gotten back to. Called back again same thing. I contacted my bank and they handled it as fraud which it absolutely would have been to charge more than on their invoice.

Very smooth and trouble free auction experience. Luckily I had small items so Olivers was able to handle all shipping. I LOVE my items! Thanks very much!

So I purchased an old Singer Sewing Machine, I have a few of these and love them. I paid $80 and was happy until the Shipping was almost $60 for shipping. I almost never go to LIve Auctioneers because of this. I could of purchased 2 of the Singer Machines under $55 dollars. I will never go to Live Auctioneers again. There is always a reason the cost goes over and Higher. I ended up having to pay I believe $168.00 Will not do that again
