This was my first purchase from this auction house. I have to say everything was top-notch. The items were as described, and I'm very happy with the purchases. Dennis, the owner, was able to answer any questions I had about the items and has a tremendous knowledge of the material he is selling. I was able to pick up my purchases in North Carolina, as we were attending a stoneware festival there. This was above and beyond. I will be watching for his next auction as he was able to gather such great, fresh to the market outsider and folk art, along with some awesome stoneware and pottery.

My experience with Folk Art Auctions was excellent — start to finish. The Willie Tarver sculpture was a unique piece in excellent condition. The bidding went smoothly. The invoice came promptly. The owner worked with me to pick up my item locally. And worked around my schedule because I was traveling and stopping briefly for the express purpose of retrieving my sculpture. The owner is super knowledgable and passionate about folk rt and took time out of his busy schedule to chat about other folk artists he was intimately familiar with. Great experience. I hope to deal with them again soon.
