Real Fake
Real Fake. After winning the auction, the transaction process was quite troublesome and chaotic. I suspect this is not a legitimate auction house. I sent the ring to an internationally recognized testing agency and paid for the stone analysis. Unfortunately, it wasn't even a ruby. It turned out to be a Thai-heated sapphire with ruby inclusions. Therefore, I believe this auction house is very irresponsible and unprofessional. Perhaps they didn't even conduct any testing and just defined it as a ruby based on the text description.

Dear Mr. Jian , We are surprised to discover your 1-star review on Live Auctioneers, after six months of your lot’s delivery and, above all, without having received any complaint from you, since then. First, the transaction process was troublesome because you asked us to deliver the ring to a friend of yours, who had been on holiday for about two months. Not only, we genuinely tried to find the best solution to limit your expenses, delivering directly the lot, but you and your friend turned around so many times for unclear reasons. Second and most important, we are a distinguished Company established and consolidated on the market for fifty years and we are ready to recall the lot and refund you, upon a GIA or IGI official certification (not a private gemologist). We are deeply sorry by your attitude to write a 1-star review, right close to our next auction, rather than immediately contact us at the time of the lot’s delivery and ask for recall/refund, a procedure we are seamlessly used to, as we are a reliable Auction House.
