GREAT EXPERIENCE

With loss of Old Toy Soldier auctions, Gehman is a reliable resource for both new and vintage toy soldiers from various manufacturers and different eras. Use their shipping on invoice for best prices (Invaluable tends to be far more expensive for shipping).

This auction house is entirely trustworthy and so helpful! My item was exactly as described and their inhouse shipping was awesome. My item was carefully packed and quickly shipped for a really reasonable price. They were also so helpful in organizing the shipping and helping me through that process. I didn’t hesitate to purchase three more items from them at their next auction due to this great experience, and hope to become a regular customer. Gehman is easy to do business with

Numerous auctions throughout the year presenting a wide range of vintage and more recent examples of toy soldiers. Photographs are very helpful as to determining condition, date and origins of less familiar examples. Very responsive to customers including extremely reasonable in-house shipping costs (you must ask the auction house for this service).

Great selection and excellent service

Emily at Gehman provided exceptional follow through from auction through shipment. The original 3rd party shipper missed two pick up dates which required Gehman to pick up the slack. Emily worked through the issue and provided a corrected payment and expedited delivery of the items.

Want to give a big shout out to Gehman Auctions. Everything was excellent including careful packaging, and great communication-which I really appreciated. The particular auction participated in featured only Britains, Ltd. toy soldier lots, and being a big fan of these old toys, it was wonderful seeing an auction composed only of Britains lots. Now that the late, great Old Toy Soldiers Auctions USA (OTSA)-which was the only auction house in the world dedicated solely to toy soldiers, is no longer with us, am hoping that Gehman Auctions will inherit OTSA's mantle of being THE premier, Go To, toy soldier auction house (one reason OTSA was so successful was that it did its own in-house packaging and shipping).

King's African Rifles were not in Good condition as described. Four of the bases of the Figures had been broken off and repaired at some point. Also, the African Rifles and the Set 66 Duke of Connaught Lancer figures were shipped loose in the box. Figures should always be individually wrapped for secure shipping. I did appreciate that Gehman combined shipping. I had no issues with the Turkish Lancers
