Accurate Descriptions, massively inflated shipping.
I have purchased items from a number of bottle auction websites, and for the price of shipping they charge I would expect Priority shipping, insurance coverage, and signature confirmation. None of this was provided, shipping was USPS ground with minimal packing material. Even covering the cost of the box and materials I would expect to pay around $15 for this kind of shipping.

Very Happy With My Purchase
My items were exactly as described. Some look better in person than in the photos. All were wrapped very well to make the trip safely to me. Shipping was very reasonable compared to other auction houses. After some issues with the USPS I contacted the auction house and they were always fast to respond. I am overall very happy with this purchase and hope to buy from them again.

Wrong auction items shipped; auction house unresponsive
I received items that I didn’t bid on. I haven’t received any of the items that I bid on and won. Crowded House Auctions has been unresponsive and LiveAuctioneers has been helpful. It’s super disappointing. After a week of going in circles with LiveAuctioneers and radio silence from the auction house, I’ve taken to disputing the charges with my bank. Buyer beware, this experience has been a major time suck and really disappointing.

Wonderful early porcelain/china pieces in great cond. for their age. Great new co. I have not dealt with before. Very pleased! The mourning scene plate is beautiful and the tea cup/saucer as well. I have a weakness for early pieces and these are so much more affordable than when I started collected years ago!

Undisclosed damage
The item arrived with a significant undisclosed chip. I sent pictures. immediately to the auctioneer who said they would make it right... but did nothing. Very disappointed

Excellent communication and economical shipping
I am very pleased with my purchases-won multiple lots of specialty electronics items. Item descriptions were accurate and complete. Best aspect was very economical shipping-all items were professionally packed and arrived timely. I will be pleased to bid with Crowded House Auctions again.

Never any issues with them. Communication was prompt and they do in house shipping which is way better than almost all auction houses now who farm out shipping at ridiculous rates.
