When it comes to the pursuit of excellence, Rolex comes first. For more than a century, Rolex has been considered as one of the world’s most recognizable and influential brands in the watch industry. Rolex equals luxury, elegance and precision. Over the years, their watches have become a status symbol and not just practical objects to display the time. Rolex was founded by Hans Wilsdorf and Alfred Davis in London in 1905. In an era where watches were pinned to garments or carried in pockets, Hans Wilsdorf had a vision of making a wristwatch that wouldn't only be precise but also elegant. Soon, it became a status symbol and along with its style, more functions have been added. In 1910 Rolex was the first company in the world to receive the first Swiss Certificate of Chronometric Precision, while in 1926 the brand introduced the first-ever waterproof and dust-proof wristwatch, the Rolex Oyster. Later on, Rolex introduced in 1931 the world's first self-winding watch. But it was really in 1953 when Hans Wilsdorf created the Rolex Submarine, the most iconic dive-watch ever made. Modern models of the brand are based on these vin
