Conditions of Sale 1. All property is sold "as is", and neither the auctioneer nor any consignor makes any warranties or representation of any kind or nature with respect to the property, and in no event shall they be responsible for the correctness, nor deeded to have made any representation or warranty, or description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, souce, origin, or condition of the property and no statement made at the sale, or in the bill of sale, or invoice or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty of representation or an assumption of liability. 2. The highest bidder as determined by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the case of a disputed bid, the auctioneer shall have sole discretion in determining the purchaser and may also, at his or her election, withdraw the lot or reoffer the lot for sale. 3. All merchandise purchased must be paid for within (3) working days of auction. Furniture items not removed within (30) days will have a storage charge of $50.00 per month imposed. Any expenses Pioneer Auction incurrs in the transfer of items to a storage facility will be passed on to the buyer. Any lot or item not paid for within 30 days will be subject to re-offer at auction without reserve, the purchaser being held liable for the original purchase price and liable for any deficiency plus all costs of sale. 4. Payment: Pioneer accepts cash, money order, cashier's check, Master Card and Visa. All purchases are subject to the Massachusetts 5% sales tax unless the purchaser possesses a MA sales tax exemption number. 5. Shipping: If Pioneer receives a request for shipment of items, the purchaser will be responsible for all packaging, handling & shipping and it is the sole risk of the purchaser with no liability to Pioneer Auction for any loss or damage to items, purchasers shall pay in advance all packaging expenses, including labor, postage & materials & shipping fees including insurance. Allow three to five weeks for shipping. 6. Place a bid only if you are serious about buying the item. If you are the successful bidder, you have entered into a legally binding contract to purchase the property bid on from the seller. You should contact the seller to resolve any questions before bidding.
