Invoices must be paid in full within 5 days of auction's close before property is released to shipper. Payment accepted includes: PayPal, Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Disc, Amex, Wire Transfer and Check. Checks may be held for the funds to clear before releasing the property. In cases of non-payment, the Auctioneer's right to void the sale does not relieve the bidder from their obligation to pay both seller's and buyer's premium and any damages incurred from loss of sale. Paid items left beyond 45 days become property of the auction house and will be sold.
A 25% Buyer's premium will be in affect and is additional to the hammer or purchase price. All Florida based bidders will be subject to a 7% Florida State sales tax; dealers are exempt from this if they have a valid Florida State Resale Certificate on file with Rare-Era prior to bidding.

The vast majority of property offered at Rare-Era comes directly from estates and private collections, and may show signs of use and age. We go to great lengths to provide multiple photos and accurate descriptions of each lot. The absence of condition remarks in the description does not mean the item is in perfect condition. You may request a condition report prior to bidding. This service is provided for guidance to the buyer and is without legal obligation. All lots are sold "as is" and without guarantee. We do not accept returns.
Lots may be subject to a reserve (the confidential minimum price below which the property will not be sold), often this is equal to the opening bid value.
