Arader Galleries' Fall 2018 Auction

The sale features excellent examples from John James Audubon's Birds of America as well as a few plates from his Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America, namely both the Male and Female Bison (Buffalo). Included also is a compelling selection of natural history watercolors, notably a gorgeous offering of original Redoute Watercolors for Les Lillies. Other highlights are fine ornithological and flora watercolors, maps and views from the 16th to the 20th century, and a intriguing offering of Western Art by Bodmer and Catlin. Finally there is a wonderful selection of rare books, specifically an amazing assortment of John Gould works.
