TLV Auctions Terms & Conditions: Please read our terms and conditions detailed below before bidding. TLV Auctions requires all bidders, regardless of how you bid, to accept the terms and conditions of the sale. You acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions of the sale by bidding in this auction. -TLV Auctions will act as the owner or as agent for consignor(s) for the lots listed in all catalogues subject to the following terms and conditions. -All property IS SOLD AS IS, where is and without recourse, and neither the consignor(s) nor TLV Auctions makes any representation or warranties, express or implied, with respect to size, count, weight, style, authenticity, provenance, period material, manufacturer, artist, origin copyright or reproduction right or any other warranty except as specified below on any lot sold. The measurements and weights are approximate. All glassware is sold as is; we cannot check every piece for chips. TLV Auctions is not responsible for damage of glass covering paintings, drawings, and other works or frames, regardless of cause. TLV Auctions will not guarantee the authenticity of any signature unless so stated at the time of auction. TLV Auctions only guarantees the medium in which the particular work is executed. We are not responsible for typographical errors in descriptions either in the catalog or on the internet. -The catalog listings are meant as a descriptive guide only. None of the items listed are available for preview in person. -ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THERE ARE NO RETURNS. TLV Auctions is not responsible for internet bidding errors or errors with any electronic device. -TLV Auctions may remove, combine, or divide any lot at its sole discretion prior to the start of an auction. -TLV Auctions are online only. All lots are sold to the highest bidder. In the event of a dispute between bidders, TLV Auctions has the final discretion to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer the lot in dispute. If any dispute arises after a sale, TLV Auctions’ sale record shall be conclusive. -A Buyer's Premium of 25% is added to the hammer price of each lot sold. -Payment is due within 5 business days of a given auction. Acceptable forms of payment include credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) or PayPal. Payments must come from the invoiced party only. We reserve the right to decline payments from anyone other than the invoiced party. Credit card payments by phone are accepted at the discretion of TLV Auctions up to $5,000 only and only on U.S. issued credit cards. -All purchases are subject to 6.35% Connecticut sales tax unless (a) the buyer is an out of state resident and the lot is being shipped out of state by a certified shipper or (b) the buyer has a valid tax resale number on file with TLV Auctions. Resale tax numbers from all states are accepted, but the resale tax form must be completely filled out and received prior to time of purchase. If you pick up your item at our location and you do not have a valid resale certificate you will be subject to CT Sales Tax. -Some lots may have a reserve price (the confidential minimum price below which a lot will not be sold). Reserves are agreed upon between consignors and TLV Auctions. -Employees of TLV Auctions are not prohibited from bidding. It is possible that, through their employment, they may have access to information not available to the public. -All lots must be paid for and picked up within 30 days after the auction at the buyer's expense or they are subject to a storage fee of $10.00 per lot, per day no matter the size (due to COVID-19 and in accordance with Governor Lamont The Local Vault and TLV Auctions will be closed for preview and pick-up until we are permitted to do so. TLV Auctions will store all purchased items, free of charge, until pick-up is permitted). TLV Auctions is not responsible for loss or damage to items left on premises over 30 business days. TLV Auctions reserves the right to re-auction, without reserve, items not removed or not paid for within 30 days. -A Finance Fee of 1% per month will be added to unpaid balances beginning 30 days after the auction. -Auction items are available for pick up only after the buyer receives an invoice and the lot is paid for. -TLV Auctions is not responsible for shipping. All shipping is to be arranged and paid for by successful bidders. Pick-up must be arranged with TLV Auctions. -If for any reason a purchased lot cannot be delivered in the condition it was in at the time of sale, or should any purchased lot be stolen or lost prior to delivery/pick-up, TLV Auctions shall not be liable for any amount in excess of that paid by the buyer. -TLV Auctions is not responsible for any action of shippers or packers whether or not recommended by us. Packing and handling of purchased lots by us is at the entire risk of the buyer and TLV Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to such items. -If the original buyer believes there is a misrepresentation of a lot, that original buyer has 30 days after the auction date to contact TLV Auctions. No claims will be recognized by anyone other than the original buyer. After 30 days, TLV Auctions will not entertain any request for refunds. -All invoices, documents, contracts and conditions are governed by the laws and judicial system of the State of Connecticut.
