As New Yorkers and deep believers that together we are stronger, we decided to bring together the NYC design community to launch At Home. At Home is an online auction, featuring works contributed by New York based designers and artists. All net proceeds of the auction will benefit the humanitarian aid organization Direct Relief, with an intention to directly support the NYC Community's battle with the COVID-19 Crisis. Since 1948, Direct Relief has worked to help people who confront enormous hardship to recover from disasters and improve the quality of their lives. Direct Relief's response to the COVID-19 crisis includes coordination with public health authorities, nonprofit organizations and businesses to provide personal protective equipment and essential medical items to health workers. .

Condition of items sold - Each designer is responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness of, estimated selling price of, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance will be made or sale set aside on account of any incorrectness, error in cataloguing, or any imperfection not noted. No deduction will be allowed on damaged articles as all goods being exposed for public exhibition are sold ?as is? and without recourse. General Assembly cannot be held responsible for the items sold. Manner of payment - All items are to be paid in full Mastercard, Visa, Debit Card or Paylal within 48 hours after the auction ends. General Assembly and the designers reserve the right to hold merchandise until a buyer?s payment clears. All measurements and sizes are provided by each participating designer and artist. Due to COVID-19 affecting the businesses' operations, shipping will take place at each designer's discretion. We're currently aiming for June 2020. All sales are final and all net proceeds of the auction will benefit the humanitarian aid organization Direct Relief, with an intention to directly support the NYC Community?s battle with the COVID-19 Crisis. The 5% Premium added to each item sold will allow us to cover Live Auctioneers' auction fee of 5%. Any additional terms or conditions of sale, added by auctioneer, shall be announced prior to auction.
