We will be conducting a live auction of nearly 1,000 guaranteed authentic autographs on Thursday August 27, 2020, beginning at 10:00 AM EDT. All items being offered may be viewed at the sites of the auctioneers hosting the sale: Invaluable and Liveauctioneers. Lots are presented in unidentified categories: lots 1 though 18 are Early American, 19 through 141 Presidents, followed by Politics, Personalities, Arts and Letters, Science and Discovery, Aviation and Space, Military, World Leaders, Entertainers and Sports. We have several signed documents from patriots dated 1776, a number of White House signed cards, early signed patents and the Senate Manual belonging to Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson for the year 1963, when he assumed the Presidency. We have books and letters from Civil Rights leaders, including a card signed by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. There are signed books and papers from literary giants including James Baldwin, Brendan Behan, Truman Capote, Samuel Clemens, Robert Frost, Stephen King, A.A. Milne, a signed photograph of Leo Tolstoy, Thornton Wilder, a group of intimate letters from conductor Leonard Bernstein, Caruso, sheet music from George M. Cohan, Claude DeBussy ALS , Norman Rockwell, Grandma Moses and countless others. In addition to aviation material from Orville Wright and Amelia Earhart and NASA astronauts we have a large number of Soviet cosmonauts including several examples from Yuri Gagarin and an autograph letter signed from the Father of the Soviet rocket program, Konstantin Tsiolkovski. Also a set of six Kniga postal covers. We are selling an imposing group of military items including a lot of over 60 signed photographs from survivors of the U.S.S. Indianapolis. We have two early autograph letters from British monarch, Edward VIII and a galaxy of Hollywood stars including Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Judy Garland, Al Jolson, movie contracts signed by Cecile B. deMille, Bill ?Bojangles?
