DESIGN! ART! CALLS!

With the motto DESIGN!ART!CALLS! 342 objects, including several unique copies from the areas Design, Art and Photography are auctioned.
The emphasis on Contemporary Art and Design of the 20th century will be especially attractive for many collectors and art lovers. The diligent selection of the objects leads to an exciting scope of internationally acknowledged objects.
Highlights of the auction on 21st November 2008 can be found in the area design, for example a Crystal Palace Plywood Chair and bronze-coloured panels from the OPEC-building from the Seventies. A rare and precious piece is the seating bench from Marcel Breuer. It is not mentioned in Breuer's catalogue, but it has been labelled from Wohnbedarf Zürich, for whom Breuer has been working.

From the Contemporary area, furnitures from the Israeli designer Ezri Tarazi are offered. Presently, they are on high demand in galleries. Also part of the auction: Rover-Chairs from Ron Arad and Oliver Schick's Walker-Chair, an interesting new interpretation of the rocking chair.

The Art-Highlights are an Andy-Warhol-Cupboard with certificate and three art objects from the German artist Anke Eilergerhard: "Heaven on Earth", "Sausage Slice" and "Pollen Flight Installation". Six Objects from the German photographer Andreas Komotzki will be auctioned, too. Four pictures from his series "Home" and 2 pictures from his series "Bus Stop".
