Asian Art

The September Asian Art online auction expands on the selections in the Live auction to include many more exemplary Chinese ceramics, from early celadon and flambe glazed pieces to boldly decorated famille rose. Export pieces from the 18th and 19th centuries from private collections round out the ceramics on offer. Japanese art is well represented, from Ukiyo-e woodblock prints to the modern masters Hasui and Yoshida and choice textiles and furniture. We are also excited to offer Chinese rugs and textiles from several respected collections. Other highlights include Indian and Persian paintings and Chinese jades and metalwork. We invite you to preview items, ask questions of our specialists, and learn more about the auction process at Skinner. Appointments are required to ensure safety and health.
