This sale will be a two day auction and will include a fabulous private Civil War collection with some items from the Pre-Civil War and Indian Wars periods to be included. There will also be a few selected additions to this one owner collection. Collection contains both Confederate and Union Uniforms, hats, shoes, boots etc. Weapons: Bowie and Push Knives, Richmond Musket and other firearms and bayonets. Buckles, Corps Badges, some wonderful swords including several with Eagle Pommels. Confederate and Union canteens, belts, cartridge boxes, Artillery including original cannon mold, soldier images, Civil War documents, autographs and signed letters from notables like; George Trenholm, CSA Secratary of the Treasury, Julia Ward Howe, CSA General Wade Hampton and others., papers and more!
We will also have a fine Advertising collection from Texas containing, a fabulous C-1900 Counter, several country store showcases, displays, tins and signs. A rare 1918 floor model phono lamp by the Electric Phonograph Company. Antique Toys include a Blue tin Moxie car, Extremely rae C-1935 Tippco Nazi plane with Mickey Mouse on the Nosecone, a superb C-1870 Ives clockwork rowboat, NOS Marx and Japanses tin cars and trucks., boxed Linemar Popeye rowboat and more Popeye toys. WWI & WWII posters, Circus Posters , Side Show posters and more as well as many nice surprises will be in this sale.

All Civil War items are described to the best of our ability. Provenance, where noted, is available and goes with the sold items. -All buyers are required to pay Maryland sales tax (6%) unless a COPY of a valid sales tax exemption number and completed tax form are filed with Mosby & Co. Auctions. If item(s) are shipped out of state by a licensed FCC carrier; , i.e. UPS, Fedex, USPS etc., the purchase is then exempt from MD sales tax. All shipping is at the expense of the buyer.
- There is a 15% buyer's premium, discounted to 11% on cash, check, Bank wire transfer, Western Union, M.O. or other forms of "cash" transactions on all purchases.
-Payment may be made by; check, cash, M.O. Wire transfer, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal or other forms deemed acceptable to both parties.
-Packing and shipping of all purchases can be arranged by Mosby & Co. Auctions at the buyers request and expense. It is the discretion of Mosby & Co. to determine if items can be shipped in-house or if a professional shipper must be used. Large items may require special handling and expense.
-The act of placing a bid on any lot constitutes acceptance of on the part of the bidder of the terms of this sale.
-All sales are final.
