RM Classic Cars is proud to have been chosen as the exclusive auction house to handle the sale of the Private Collection of Thomas and Marlene Stackhouse. The occasion of this sale marks an important event to collectors of petroliana, memorabilia and nostalgia alike as many items from the private collection are rare or one-of-a-kind. The four-day auction will include the sale of approximately 28 cars and motorcycles from the Stackhouse collection. Rare collectables will also be offered including a fine selection of important period tin toys, a significant collection of mascots and hood ornaments, pedal cars, approximately 700 porcelain and tin signs, jukeboxes, neon signs, factory original tire memorabilia dating back as far as the turn of the century, and an extremely impressive collection of petroliana, including signs, globes, faces and gas pumps.

Items can be previewed at the Classic Auto Ranch, 2148 Hwy #3, Delhi, Ontario, Canada. Admission is by auction catalog at a cost of $60 and admits a maximum of 2 people per catalog.

Terms & Conditions
Please ensure that you have read and understood these terms and conditions prior to bidding at this or any other RM sale.
1. All sales are final. No bidder may retract a bid made during the sale for any reason.
2. Final bid price does not include buyer’s premium or applicable taxes on each lot purchased. Buyer’s premium is 20%, Provincial Sales Tax is 8% and Federal Goods and Services Sales Tax is 7%. Proof of tax exemption is buyer’s responsibility. (US buyers who ship their items out of Ontario are exempt from both Federal and Provincial Sales Taxes.)
3. All payments must be in the form of PayPal, cash or certified funds unless other arrangements have been approved in advance. Cash payments will be reported according to Federal government requirements.
4. All sales are “as is” and “where is”. Bidder is responsible for inspections and verification of condition, authenticity, and completeness of any item purchased. No warranties or representations of any type whatsoever are made by RM. Buyers are strongly encouraged to conduct their own evaluation and inspection. Any announcements made at the time of sale supercede any earlier printed information.
5. Person bidding online must be 21 years of age or older. No minors are allowed to bid.
6. Buyer is responsible for removing items from the auction location by Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at noon. Buyers is responsible to pay for the removal of items from the site, packing, shipping, handling and insurance of any items purchased. If buyer is unable to provide RM with the name of a packing/shipping/handling/insurance company by Sunday, September 18, 2005 at 5pm then RM will release the items to the local PakMail company. Buyer will pay RM direct for the lots, buyers fee and any applicable taxes and pay PakMail direct for their services.
7. If buyer sues RM Classic Cars, Inc. and does not prevail, buyer will reimburse RM Classic Cars, Inc. for all legal fees and expenses in connection with said suit.
8. All terms of sale posted on the auction premises, printed in sale brochures or forms, publicly announced, communicated via the eBay bidding applet or otherwise published are incorporated herein by reference.
Taxes
Final bid price does not include Provincial (8%) or Federal (7%) Sales Tax. Proof of tax exemption is buyers responsibility. (US buyers who ship their items out of Ontario are exempt from both Federal and Provincial Sales Taxes.)
