Sinclair Estate Auction

Grand View Antiques & Auction invites you to join us for a special auction of the Sinclair family Estate. This collection features a wonderful collection of Victorian furniture rarely offered for public auction. In addition to the Sinclair family Estate, we will be selling the remaining items from the Franklin Pierce Cover House and a private collection of Period Antiques along with select additions. Well represented in this auction are items from the Hepplewhite, Sheraton, Empire, Rococo, Renaissance Revival and Aesthetic periods. Highlights of this auction include a Rosewood Full Tester bed (Lot # 63), Acanthus Carved High Post bed (Lot #42), several Victorian Parlor tables including a highly carved Rosewood table (Lot #132), probably made by one of the well known New York makers and a Mahogany Parlor table with Carved Heads on the skirt (Lot #67). Period pieces are also well represented with items such as an American Maple Highboy (Lot #169), a Pie Crust Tilt Top Candle Stand (Lot #170), a Circa 1750 Walnut Lowboy and 18th C. American Mahogany Tallboy Chest (Lot #77). Several pieces of Porcelain including a pair of Sevres Urns (Lot #172) and a Palatial Dresden Urn Clock (Lot #133). This is just a very small example of this great collection, from top to bottom this auction represents an incredible collection rarely found during one auction, don’t miss this rare opportunity to bid for such pieces.
