**Terms and Conditions** 1. **Documentation Requirement**: All bidders and buyers must provide satisfactory documentation before they are approved to participate in the auction. 2. **Reserve and No Reserve**: This auction includes items with both 'no reserve' and 'reserve' pricing, as indicated in the description of each lot. An item marked as 'no reserve' has no minimum price, ensuring it will sell regardless of the final bid amount. An item with a 'reserve' has a minimum price that must be met for the item to be sold. 3. **Property Sold 'As Is'**: All property is sold in its current condition, 'as is'. Neither Investworks nor the listing agent makes any warranties or representations regarding the property. This includes, but is not limited to, any claims about the item?s correctness, authenticity, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, origin, or condition. No statement made at the auction, in the bill of sale, invoice, catalog, or elsewhere shall be considered a warranty or representation. Buyers are strongly encouraged to inspect items of interest before placing a bid. 4. **Shipping and Delivery**: After the auction, Investworks will contact the winning bidders with shipping information. The buyer is responsible for shipping costs, as outlined in the auction description, as well as any applicable taxes, duties, or fees for items coming from outside the buyer's home country. For international buyers, Investworks will provide an introduction to global parcel or white glove shipping partners upon request. 5. **Bidding and Dispute Resolution**: Except as provided in paragraph 1, the highest bidder, as determined by Investworks, will be considered the purchaser. In case of a disputed bid, the auctioneer has full discretion to determine the purchaser. The auctioneer may, at their discretion, withdraw or reoffer the lot for sale. The auctioneer also has the right to refuse any bid or bidder. 6. **Payment and Property Removal**: All purchases must be paid directly to Investworks, with full payment due upon receipt of the invoice, which will be sent the day after the auction. Items must be collected from Investworks within fourteen (14) business days following the auction. Investworks is not liable for any damage to items left on the premises after this period. If items are not removed within fourteen (14) business days, Investworks reserves the right to either: (a) transfer and store the items at a bonded warehouse, with the purchaser covering all related expenses, or (b) place the items in a subsequent auction, selling them to the highest bidder and remitting the proceeds (minus applicable commissions and fees) to the original purchaser. 7. **Payment Methods**: Acceptable forms of payment include VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover, and all payments must be made in U.S. dollars. Payment must be made in full. Investworks reserves the right to withhold merchandise until funds have cleared. 8. **Breach of Payment**: If a purchaser fails to meet any of their obligations, including full payment, Investworks reserves the right to cancel the sale and apply any payments made to cover damages caused by the breach. Alternatively, Investworks may offer the item at public auction, without reserve, and hold the purchaser liable for any deficiency, as well as any related costs. 9. **Shipping, Packaging, and Liability**: If requested, Investworks may arrange packaging and delivery, but all risks associated with handling, packaging, and shipping rest with the purchaser. The purchaser will also be responsible for covering all associated costs, including labor, materials, carrier fees, and insurance. Purchasers must arrange for collection or delivery at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance. Investworks will not be responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or licenses on behalf of the purchaser. No sale will be canceled or refunded due to shipping or licensing issues. If items are returned to Investworks due to an incorrect address or shipping errors, the buyer is responsible for the additional shipping costs and any taxes or fees incurred. Failure to fulfill this obligation may result in a breach of the terms of sale. Requests to cancel a sale after the initial payment will be at Investworks? discretion, with shipping and excess fees withheld from any refund as services rendered. 10. **Buyer's Premium**: A buyer's premium of 20% of the final bid price will be added to each lot sold and is payable by the buyer as part of the total purchase price. 11. **Acceptance of Terms**: Bidding on any lot constitutes acceptance of these terms and any other conditions announced at the time of sale, including those posted in the auction catalog or elsewhere. 12. **Final Sales**: All sales are final, and no refunds will be issued. 13. **Credit Card Payment**: When you win an item, an invoice will be sent to you. If you have a credit card on file with LiveAuctioneers, the invoice balance will be charged 24 hours after it is issued. If you have not contacted Investworks to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
