Found Painting Collection 1960-1987

Offered here is a compelling collection of mid-century paintings by African-American artists recently discovered in the pre-dawn hours at Manhattan's Chelsea Flea Market. The grouping includes works by Fredrick Campbell, Al Bostick, Floyd Sapp and Menelik III. The paintings express a wide range of subjects and styles including Civil Rights, Egyptian Historicism, portraiture and Social Realism.
