Poster Auctions International is pleased to announce our first-ever Chicago auction on May 20th. Showcasing poster design from the 19th and 20th centuries, the auction features a curated selection of more than 100 works spanning Art Nouveau elegance, mid-century travel, and rare advertising ephemera. Highlights include Biscuits Lefevre-Utile by Alphonse Mucha (1896), a radiant composition featuring one of his most charming figures, and a series of vibrant designs by David Klein for TWA from his estate, including his iconic 1962 poster Fly TWA Jets / Paris. From Mucha?s ornamental flourishes to Klein?s mid-century glamour - and all the way to the bold silhouettes of Apple?s iPod era - this auction charts a century of graphic innovation and cultural expression.
