Auspicious auctions conducted by the Auspicious Art Club are open to the public in accordance with the Auction Rules. Customers who wish to bid at the auction should read the following outline and notes. Client Registration To participate in the auction, you will need to register your credit card in advance. We ask for your cooperation to prevent money laundering and other criminal activities. Preview At the preview, all items will be displayed for bidders to view in advance. The color and condition of the photos in the catalog may differ from the actual item, so please be sure to check them before bidding. Our staff will be on hand to assist you at the event, so please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Auction There are 4 ways to participate in this auction. 1. Direct participation at the auction Those who wish to bid directly at the auction site must obtain a bidding license by completing the bidding formalities before the auction closes. (It is strictly prohibited to borrow a bidding license from another person.) The auction will be conducted in the order of the catalog numbers. The auctioneer on the stage will indicate the bidding amount (in Japanese yen), and bidders will be asked to indicate their bidding cards to the auctioneer to participate in the bidding. When the bidding price is finalized with the fall of the hammer, the bidder will be recognized as the buyer by the bidding number read out by the auctioneer. Our staff will prompt the "Confirmation of Sale" and ask the buyer to sign after confirming the contents. The auction cannot be canceled after the hammer has fallen on the work. In order to ensure the smooth running of the auction, the Company reserves the right to refuse entry to any bidder at its sole discretion, depending on the circumstances of the venue. 2. Telephone Bidding Those who are unable to attend the auction on the day of the sale may bid by phone. Please submit an application by One month before the auction and pay a deposit of 300,000 yen with a certificate of deposit acceptable to the Company. The deposit may increase as the number of works participating in the telephone bidding increases. Please understand that there may be problems with delays, disconnections, or communication failures during the telephone bidding process. 3. Submitting a Written Bidding Instruction for Off-site Bidding If you are unable to attend the auction on the day of the auction, you may submit a written request to participate in the auction. Please fill out the necessary items in the "Written Bidding Consent Form" and send it to the following address by One month before the auction? by fax or mail. At the same time, before One month before the auction, please remit a deposit (one-half of the maximum amount of the work to be bid, and provide a certificate of deposit approved by the Company). 4. Internet Bidding If you are unable to attend the auction on the day of the auction, you may bid online. Please contact our service center before One month before the auction to register and pay the deposit. In the unlikely event of network delays, disconnections or communication failures, please understand. Payment and Commission The payment amount is the total of the hammer price plus the closing commission (24%) and the excise tax on the closing commission. Example: Sold price 1,000,000 yen Sold price (hammer price) 1,000,000 yen Commission (24%) ?240,000 Payment (total purchase price) 1,240,000 yen Future Settlement and Delivery If you wish to settle the payment in the future, please make a bank transfer or use UnionPay, VISA, Master, JCB, AMEX, Diners and Discover to settle the payment within 7 days after the end of the auction. Please notify us when you make the transfer or visit us, and we will deliver the sold items after we confirm the payment. The successful bidder, who is identified by the auctioneer as the highest bidder, may not cancel for any reason. However, if the Company accepts the cancellation, a penalty of 30% of the winning bid will be imposed on the successful bidder. If it is difficult to resolve the issue through discussion, the matter will be handled through legal action. All costs related to the legal action shall be borne by the successful bidder, and his/her membership registration shall be cancelled and he/she shall be prohibited from participating in the auction in the future. Bidders must fully read and understand the Auction Rules in advance.
