Mivark's Legends and Luminaries

Mivark proudly presents Mivark's Legends and Luminaries, a 150-lot New Acquisitions auction pairing the luminaries of Modern and contemporary art with the legends of sport, screen, and stage. Spanning Modern, Post-War, and Contemporary highlights, the catalogue presents Modern masters including Picasso, Monet, Klimt, Modigliani, Matisse, Chagall, Miró, Magritte, Mondrian, Léger, Dalí, and Max Ernst, alongside Post-War icons such as Warhol, Lichtenstein, Basquiat, Botero, Bacon, Hockney, and Mel Ramos. Contemporary selections feature a deep Banksy showing, from Walled Off Hotel sculptures to the GDP Rat and Flower Thrower, alongside KAWS, Damien Hirst, Murakami, Kusama, Invader, Mr Doodle, Mr Brainwash, STIK, Josef Albers, Lee Ufan, Julian Opie, Hebru Brantley, and Joan Cornellá. Photography is represented by museum-recognized names including Penn, Avedon, Cartier-Bresson, Capa, Bourke-White, Araki, Nick Brandt, and Édouard Boubat, with French crystal by Lalique, Daum, and Baccarat and Kay Bojesen's Cartier Groom rounding out the decorative arts. The sale is anchored by authenticated, signed memorabilia across football (Messi, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Neymar, Lamine Yamal, Kaká, the MSN trio), basketball (LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Curry, O'Neal), Formula 1 (Hamilton, Verstappen), boxing (Tyson), and baseball (Mantle, Mays), together with screen and stage icons Nicholson, Pacino, Connery, and Dolly Parton, a dynamic cross-section of 20th and 21st century cultural landmarks.
