Auction Terms & Conditions Please read carefully before bidding. 1. Condition of Sale Sold As Is (Most Important) All lots are sold AS IS and AS SHOWN. We guarantee only that the item delivered is the exact item shown in the original listing images. No representations or warranties are made regarding authenticity, authorship, attribution, brand, provenance, origin, period, condition, or future value, unless explicitly stated in writing. By placing a bid, the bidder confirms full understanding and acceptance of this condition. 2. No Returns / No Refunds All sales are final. Returns and refunds are not accepted under any circumstances, including but not limited to: Attribution or brand interpretation Condition issues, inherent defects, restorations, or aging Differences of opinion after purchase Typographical or descriptive errors Failure to read the description or terms 3. Description & Images Descriptions, dimensions, photographs, and opinions are provided for reference only and reflect professional judgment at the time of cataloging. The absence of condition details does not imply that an item is free from wear, damage, repairs, or age-related characteristics. Buyers are responsible for carefully reviewing all images prior to bidding. 4. Payment Terms Credit card payments are not accepted Items under USD 1,000 may be paid via PayPal Items over USD 1,000 must be paid via wire transfer (T/T) Full payment must be received and cleared before shipment is arranged 5. Taxes, Duties & Customs Buyers are solely responsible for any applicable sales tax, customs duties, import/export taxes, or tariffs, unless exempt by law. Tax-exempt buyers must submit valid exemption documentation prior to payment. 6. Materials Subject to Regulation Lots may include materials subject to wildlife or export regulations, including but not limited to ivory, coral, tortoiseshell, exotic woods, or animal-derived materials. Buyers are fully responsible for verifying all applicable export, import, and transportation laws in their jurisdiction. No refunds will be issued if an item is seized, restricted, or cannot be legally imported or exported. 7. Shipping & Risk Shipment will be arranged only after full payment has been received. Risk transfers to the buyer once the item leaves our premises. 8. Company Rights TOISHINSEI Co., Ltd. reserves the right to: Withdraw any lot prior to sale Cancel a transaction due to technical errors, incorrect data, or quality control issues Refund the buyer only if a sale is canceled at our sole discretion before shipment 9. Acceptance of Terms Submitting a bid constitutes full acceptance of all the above terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in bidding restrictions or permanent account suspension. 10. After-Sales Service, Claims and Returns All Lots are sold AS IS and WHERE IS , unless otherwise expressly stated in the Lot description or these Terms and Conditions. Bidders are responsible for carefully reviewing the catalogue description, photographs, condition information, and any available condition reports before placing a bid. Bids are irrevocable, and all sales are final. No returns, cancellations, or refunds will be accepted solely because a buyer has changed their mind, is dissatisfied with the purchase, or believes that the Lot does not meet their expectations. If a buyer believes that a purchased Lot is materially different from its catalogue description, or has a genuine issue concerning authenticity, attribution, or a material misdescription, the buyer must notify TOISHINSEI Co., Ltd. in writing within seven (7) calendar days from the date of delivery. The seven (7)-day period is a claim-notification period only and does not constitute a general return or inspection period. Any claim concerning authenticity, attribution, or material misdescription must be supported by a written report issued by an independent and appropriately qualified expert or professional institution reasonably acceptable to TOISHINSEI Co., Ltd. The report must clearly identify the Lot and specify the material basis for the claim. TOISHINSEI Co., Ltd. reserves the right to request additional information, documentation, or an independent expert opinion where reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim. Claims based solely on condition, wear, age-related deterioration, restoration, repairs, alterations, minor imperfections, natural characteristics, differences in color or appearance resulting from photography or display, or matters that were disclosed or reasonably apparent from the catalogue description, photographs, condition report, or other sale materials will not constitute grounds for cancellation, return, or refund. Claims relating to damage occurring during shipping must be reported to TOISHINSEI Co., Ltd. promptly upon delivery, together with photographs of the packaging and the Lot, and any other documentation reasonably required for an insuran
