This Auction Features Aquatint Engravings by John James Audubon from his Birds of America, lithographs from his Quadrupeds of America, other natural history engravings and watercolors including those by Charles H. Smith, John Gould & Mark Catesby. Also for sale are drawings, watercolors and oil paintings by noted artists John Constable, Victor Dubreuil, Thomas W. Whitley, August Lohr and many others. There is also an extensive selection of both engraved and lithographed maps including a Covens & Mortier edition of the Mitchell Map, A Jefferson & Fry map of Virginia, a Humboldt map of New Spain, and Antonio Floriano's rare World Map Globe Gores. Rounding out the sale are groupings of Americana and Western Art.
