Mixed lot winnings
Donnie Malones Auction house receives some very interesting items, and this was a mixture of Japanese: a small statue, two used inkstones in cases, one of which, rather me mixed, cover and bottom; and a lovely costume, jewelry pin/brooch, of a dragon fly with a diamond tail. The latter was a brand and the tail rhinestone was a pin that was not attached. Thus I would be afraid to wear it just sticking the tail into the body, and having it fall out while I was putting it off and on a coat or walking around in the street. I took it to the jeweler and he said well he wasn’t gonna guarantee anything that perhaps he could put some kind of glue so that I could wear the brooch of the dragonfly. Both of the inkstones were used and one was advertised as being signed. I That perhaps he could put some kind of glue so that I could wear the brooch of the dragonfly. Both of the inkstones were used and one was advertised as being signed. I didn’t see any signature any place and there was one that had a small carving at the top on the inkstone of a pine tree. The small statue of the Noh dancer Okina/Sambaso was described as being made of copper. It is amazingly heavy. I was only somewhere, disappointed by the fact that one of the used in stones was in a mix matched case.
