It is with pride and pleasure that the team at Lapointe & Champagne announces that we are now working under the banner of Champagne Auctions, and will be presenting a diverse range of collectables to be ofered in our public auctions. First, however, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our friend and colleague, Mr. Jean Lapointe, who has been at our side throughout the grand adventure that has been Lapointe & Champagne.
Two major changes are to be noted; one is our new auction hall, located at 2400 Ste-Catherine E. Tis magnifcent edifce, a designated patrimonial site, constructed in 1921, was the former Montreal City & District Savings Bank. Te increased space and facility of access will be a boon to both staf and clientele, and the beauty of the structure is truly inspiring. Te second is the greatly expanded range and frequency of our auctions. As well as our regular Canadian and International Fine Art auctions, we will now be presenting major live and internet auctions for coins, stamps, watches, silverware, fne wine and more.
Our mission is above all to be of service to both buyers and sellers; to facilitate the free movement of items of our own, and everyone’s heritage. It is with this spirit of mutual respect, our central philosophy at Champagne Auctions, that we commit ourselves to our clients and associates.
