Exceptional Jewellery & Decorative Arts Auction
Welcome to Smalls Auctions Sale 366, a diverse and exciting offering featuring exceptional jewellery, historical Australian memorabilia, rare collectibles, decorative arts, and unique objects of enduring appeal. This carefully curated sale presents opportunities for collectors, investors, and enthusiasts across a broad range of categories. A standout highlight is a bespoke diamond engagement ring and matching wedding band crafted by renowned Sydney jeweller Cerrone. Accompanied by original 2015 valuations exceeding $25,000, the set features a superb 1.01-carat round brilliant-cut diamond graded D colour and SI1 clarity, complemented by an additional 0.52 carats of quality diamonds. Also featured is a striking bespoke 18ct yellow gold pendant centred on a deep purple amethyst of approximately 40 carats, surrounded by over four carats of brilliant-cut diamonds. Collectors of unusual design will appreciate the original Salvador Dalí-inspired ‘Soft Watch’ produced by Exaequo during the early 1990s. Inspired by The Persistence of Memory, these increasingly scarce watches have become highly sought-after collector pieces. Further highlights include a finely decorated 19th-century East Asian tortoise shell brush pot featuring gold-painted cockerels amongst bamboo, and a rare 1901 Commonwealth 12-carat gold Federation medalet by A.H. Wittenbach bearing the patriotic inscription “One Nation – One People – One Destiny.”Bidder Reviews for Smalls Auctions (13)

Friendly, helpful Auction House
Bought a lot from Small Auctions recently using the Liveauctioneers web platform. Easy to register and good detail and images provided. Communication with Small Auctions was excellent even though we are on opposite sides of the earth! Posting an packing was easy to arrange and very reasonably costed. Item arrived very quickly after the sale, safely packed and all as described. Very happy to recommend Small Auctions and would hope to deal with them again.
