As part of the company's inaugural launch, Azca Auctions is proud to present their first Watches auction, taking place on Wednesday 26th June at 1.00pm BST.
With 89 lots, the sale aims to offer a broad-ranging, yet well-curated selection of sought-after, collectable timepieces. The star lot of the sale is a unique Omega Constellation 18k yellow gold wristwatch that used to belong to one of the greatest music icons of the 20th century, the 'King of Rock and Roll’, Elvis Presley (1935 - 1977). Engraved at the back with the heartfelt message "To the Colonel, from the Little Colonel 1971'', this watch highlights the close and affectionate relationship between Elvis and his manager, Colonel Tom Parker, to whom the American singer gifted his treasured wristwatch.
The auction features a varied range of lots catering to the taste and pockets of every buyer, from seasoned collectors to new aficionados. Among our highlights, there are two Rolex Daytona models: one in stainless steel and gold, and the other in 18k yellow gold. Two other particularly exciting timepieces are the Rolex GMT Master, with its stunning tropical patina over the hour markers, and an unique Universal Geneve Tri-Compax, with a captivating tropical patina over the dial. Bridging the gap between our first two sales, two khanjar dial watches and three watches with Saudi Arabia dial, prove how popular and desirable wristwatches are in certain regions of the Islamic world.
In addition to these remarkable pieces, the auction also includes four variants of the famous Omega Speedmaster; a Breitling limited edition chronograph commemorating the 11th Squadron of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force; a rose gold Universal Geneve likely given as a diplomatic gift from King Saud; alongside a curated selection of yellow gold, rose gold and steel watches suitable for both ladies and gentlemen.
