Miller & Miller’s February 11th Pottery sale has something for everyone. This online only sale features the collection of Jon and Lyne Dellandrea. The collection includes rare merchant pieces from small villages and towns in the Muskoka and Parry Sound districts. The collection also includes six stoneware pieces decorated with fabulous sunflowers from the Nicholas Eberhardt Pottery of Toronto Canada West. A highlight of this sale are three Brantford Pottery stoneware picture frames stamped for different members of the Effner Family with one dated 1863. This sale has some incredible Canadian earthenware, including an extremely rare tomato jar attributed to the Bradwin Wingham Pottery, Ahrens Paris flask, early St-Denis Quebec ovoid jug, Eby Conestogo miniatures, and a wash set from Horning & Brownscombe’s Owen Sound Pottery. There are pieces in this sale from right across Canada. We are pleased to offer the first half of a collection of Canadian prairie stoneware. Among many rare small-town pieces are three jugs from the Indian Head Wine & Liquor Company North West Territories (pre 1905), and Hudson’s Bay Co. jugs from Winnipeg Manitoba and Nelson British Columbia. There are also many extremely rare Western Canadian ginger beers, including a P.T. Colbert from Saskatoon Saskatchewan and an L. Drewry Golden Key Brand quart with left-facing key trademark from Winnipeg. From the East Coast, we have a rare and early John McCann jug from Indiantown (Saint John) New Brunswick and two spittoons from the Prince Edward Island Pottery. This online sale offers a varied and compelling lineup of rare and exciting pieces. Don’t miss out!
