Alexandria, VA., February 21, 1885." above "The following is the full Programme of the Dedication Ceremonies of the Washington National Monument which take place today:" followed by an introduction, list of music, order of progression, and specific details of the dedication, and a printing of "The Legend of the Cherry Tree", published by C. T. Cathcart, Job Printer, Alexandria, VA, all within a decorative border, the verso printed with an image of the monument. Archival framed under UV glass in a modern gilt frame. 1885. 10 1/8" x 8" sight, 18" x 15 1/4" OA.

Fine overall condition with a separation and short tear at the center horizontal fold crease, and a stain from tape at the tear, no other visible damage. Not examined out of frame.
