Description
Handsome solid cherry buffet/sideboard by Tom Seely Furniture, crafted in the company's tradition of finely made American furniture inspired by historic designs.
Made in West Virginia, this substantial case piece features the warm character of solid cherry and a traditional design with generous storage. The restrained lines and rich wood grain make it well suited to American traditional, Colonial Revival, and collected interiors.
Tom Seely Furniture developed a respected reputation for American-made solid wood furniture and historically inspired designs. The company was acquired by Gat Caperton in 1996, with established Tom Seely designs continuing to be produced under the historic name during the years that followed.
This buffet is part of a coordinated Tom Seely solid cherry dining-room suite. The matching signed and dated 1999 Tom Seely extension dining table, six coordinating side chairs, and pair of matching dining armchairs are also available separately in our Chairish shop.
Together, the available pieces offer the opportunity to assemble a substantial coordinated Tom Seely dining room, while the buffet works equally well on its own as a sideboard, serving piece, or storage cabinet.
