This lot features a vintage 1978 Topps football trading card showcasing four-time Pro Bowl quarterback Ken Anderson of the Cincinnati Bengals. A franchise icon who later captured the 1981 NFL MVP award, Anderson is captured live in pocket action gripping the football and assessing his options downfield while enveloped by his offensive blockers in classic black and orange Bengals jerseys. The card highlights the definitive design framework of the 1978 Topps set, which integrates a curved magenta and black ribbon banner across the top displaying the "Bengals" franchise name alongside a yellow "QB" position circle. This authentic piece of gridiron history stands as an outstanding addition for vintage sports card collectors, set builders, or dedicated fans of historic Cincinnati sports memorabilia.
