A fascinating archive of original typed documents from the Club des Propriétaires de Ferrari (French Ferrari Owners' Club) dating from 1973, comprising board meeting minutes, General Assembly papers, election notices and working documents, and a wonderful photograph (later print) of the founding members of the club. Highlights include references to many of the most important names in Ferrari history, including Charles Pozzi, Pierre Bardinon, Alfredo Manicardi (SEFAC), Sergio Scaglietti, Piero Drogo, Sergio Pininfarina, Fantuzzi, Richard Merritt and others. The documents also record preparations for club events, council elections and the administration of the French Ferrari Owners' Club during one of its formative periods.
An exceptional research archive offering a rare insight into the organisation of the Ferrari community in the early 1970s and its close connections with Ferrari, SEFAC, leading coachbuilders and many of the marque's most influential personalities. A unique and historically important group. 12 pages total, good condition.
