Charming mirror in the Aesthetic movement, circa 1860. Decorated with 3panels of carved flowers and at the top , an Owl. Inside panels of dark red velour, the frame with rounded corners. Measures 14.75 x 14.75". The velour adds elegance and detail to the mirror's frame, enhancing its aesthetic appeal while staying true to the movement's emphasis on handcrafted elements. This combination of artisanal skill and decorative refinement captures the essence of the Arts and Crafts style, making the mirror a timeless piece of functional art. The mirror itself is beveled. Very unusual and striking example of this genre.
