Late 19th Century Leather Box With Hammered Bronze Tacks

Description

The hammered bronze tacks make a statement on this classic leather on wood box from the late 1800s. It has a pair of bronze handles for easy lifting. The curved top is enhanced with additional tacks. The red fabric lining the interior is velveteen like and the green on the base is felt. The brown leather has a nice patina. Hammered Bronze, Oiled Leather, Hand-Crafted Wood. circa 1890s
