First of all this is a rare find, but what I love most about this Westbury dinnerware, is the Poppy pattern. The design is similar to other sixties / seventies versions, but you generally see them in bright, or primary colors. This poppy is more understated, the brown, taupe pink, and touches of burgundy, on an off white background are down right chic. The plates have a nice weight and the bit of a lip is great for entrees that include a sauce. The luncheon plates outnumber the rest, but it's kind of fun to search online for other sizes if you want more. (The 3 desert plates have been sold)
You might want to add to the dinner size and we'd love to have more, as soon as we find them they will be for sale in our Chairish store.
If you are interested in a serving bowl or cup and saucer sets that go with the poppy plates,
we have them in separate listings now.
