A set of 64 pieces of French Directoire style earthenware. The octagonal, ochre glazed dishes, with a raised beaded border, are a perfect example of the elegance of the French early 19th century neoclassical era. No marks indicative of origin, other than embossed numbers on some bottoms. We estimate that these dishes date from the late 19th century.
