Dynastes hyllus is a large scarab beetle that ranges from Mexico to Guatemala. Hyllus beetles are a sister species to the Dynastes granti beetles. One one side it has spotty brown patches with their signature shiny sheen backsides while the other is a pure dark brown shell with similar sheen. An incredible addition to any collection!
