An 1850's ruby acid cutback large Victorian arch top door window from the G. Heilman Estate in Lacrosse WI that came out of Duncan D. McMillan mansion, owned by the Heilman family. Torn down in the early 1900's, the house was an ornate, Second-Empire style mansion. No expense was spared in building this stunning residence The staircase and stain glass windows were custom made in New Orleans and delivered onsite via the Mississippi River. The other elements of this wonderful mansion were built by local craftsmen. The G. Heileman family saved many architectural elements and have been stored for over 120 years in the mansion attic. The ruby acid cutback depicts a large urn with flower arrangement, and floral hanging garlands. The overall measurement is 96" tall X 19" across.
