Description

Weighted candlesticks crafted by the Gorham Manufacturing Company. The design is traditional and utilitarian, featuring a low, wide circular base that tapers rapidly inward to a narrow standard, topped by a simple, flared cup-shaped socket. The items are constructed from Sterling Silver, utilizing a weighted mechanism for stability. The underside of the base is clearly marked GORHAM STERLING, along with style numbers and 83. It also bears the inscription CEMENT FILLED WITH HARDENING MATERIAL, confirming the construction method. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
