Its core functionality included running games from "Videocade" cartridges (which were the same size as audio cassette tapes) and had four built-in programs: Gunfight, Checkmate, Calculator, and Scribbling. It was notably powerful for its time, featuring a Z80 CPU and advanced graphics capabilities, including the potential for 256 colors on screen, and offered expandability through a rear port for accessories like a BASIC programming cartridge or the never-widely-released ZGRASS keyboard add-on.
