March 15, 1956. Thank you note to Bernard Lamotte for his painting "Pluie, Paris" (Paris Rain). Written on White House stationary, together with envelope.9 x 6 3/4 inches. framed 20 x 13 1/2 inches N.B. In 1961 Joseph P. Kennedy commissioned Lamotte to paint a mural for the swimming pool room in the White House. Today the mural is in the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum in Boston, Massachusetts.
