Ungraded. Superboy #1, DC Comics, March-April 1949. First issue of the Superboy title, featuring the debut of Superboy in his own ongoing series. Classic cover showing Superman answering questions from a group of children about his youth. This issue helped establish Superboy as a central character in the Superman family of titles during the Golden Age. Issue is complete. Cover shows edge and corner wear, creasing, small edge tears, surface wear, and general handling wear consistent with age. Top edge and right edge both have torn missing pieces. Interior pages are tight, some light areas of staining. An important early Superboy issue with strong Golden Age appeal. Also includes Millennium Editions of Superboy #1 & More Fun Comics #101.
