Shaker style bread or apple tray, painted greenish-mustard ground with weeping willow at center, one end inscribed "tis the Gift to be Simple", other end inscribed "tis the Gift to be Free", signed on base "Simple Gifts - Pleasant Hill, Kentucky - M: W: Bishop - 1989"; 14 1/4"L, 8 1/4"D, 3"H---3. Oval bread tray with cut-out handles; painted black and decorated with foliage and berries at center; 10"L, 6 1/4"D, 3"H---all in good overall condition with some scattered losses and wear to paint
