Description:
This engine order telegraph is constructed in brass with a circular dial mounted on a vertical pedestal base. The face displays traditional engine commands including “Full,” “Half,” “Slow,” “Dead Slow,” “Stop,” and “Standby Engine,” with directional indicators for “Ahead” and “Astern.” The central lever remains intact and functional in appearance, with clearly legible lettering and anchor emblem marked “Engine Room Telegraph.” The form reflects standard maritime communication instruments used to transmit engine commands from bridge to engine room aboard ships.
