Reverse-painted glass. 8-day time-and-strike brass movement with rack and snail. Inside the case is a handwritten label tacked onto the backboard that reads, "Last clock made by / David Studley / 1842 / Made to last forever / If taken care of."

Ht. 30 3/4 in.
