STRAVINSKY IGOR: (1882-1971) Russian composer, conductor and pianist. A good vintage signed and inscribed sepia postcard photograph, the image showing Stravinsky´s hands positioned on the top of his desk, his fingertips lightly pressed on the polished surface, allowing for an interesting reflection and expressing a certain rhythmic energy. Photograph by Germaine Krull (uncredited) and originally captured in 1927. Signed by Stravinsky in bold, dark fountain pen ink to the clear border, ´A Madame Chailley-Richey, tous mon bon voeux pour la nouvelle année 1931, Igor Stravinsky´ (Translation: ´To Madame Chailley-Richey, All my best wishes for the New Year 1931, Igor Stravinsky´). An unusual and compelling signed photograph, with a good association. A few minor traces of former mounting to the corners of the verso, otherwise VG
