Mid - 19th century nautical single draw day or night antique brass British telescope/spyglass with black leather wrap. Removable lens caps with original dust slides on both lens eye pieces. Engraving on brass draw inscribed, " J.P. Cutts Sutton & Son, Opticians To Her Majesty, Sheffield & London, Manufactured For L. Thaxter & Son Boston.". Good condition with small areas of loss to leather wrap seam. Working condition. Measures 21.5 inches closed. Measures 38 inches fully extended. Measures 2.5 inches in diameter. Purchased in Dover, New Hampshire in mid 1980's.
