Writing from the group of medical facilities which he directed and where he entertained Nazi bigwigs, Gebhardt expresses his notes: "...As chief doctor of the sanitorium and in the name of the employees we wish you all the best for Christmas and the new year to you and the Reichsminister...". A note in another hand indicates that lilacs had been sent. Likely sent to Ilse Hess, wife of Rudolf Hess. File holes at margin, else very good.
